ABOUT US

HEROSTOCK began in 2022, under the name VetStock, with two local Nebraska bands playing for a group of 100 Veterans and First Responders in a shop on an acreage in SE Lincoln. 12 local non-profits were there to make the Veterans in need aware of their services, including housing, mental health, hunting, and motorcycle therapy. The response was so great, that the founders decided to make it bigger, better, and renamed it HEROSTOCK, to include Veterans, First Responders, Law Enforcement, and Gold Star families, so they could take stock in our Nation's heroes.

In 2023, we had 6 singers/bands on stage, over 1000 heroes attending, 16 different states represented, and 44 organizations attended. Helping each other heal, provide support, and allow those to regain some camaraderie that they may have lost.

One of the biggest goals of HEROSTOCK, is to reduce the 33.9 Veteran suicides a day along with the 201 First Responder who died of suicide in 2022, many of whom are suffering from PTSD. While the goal is to stop Veteran suicide all together, we realize it needs to be one person at a time, and if we can save just one person, it will all be worth it.

We've heard back from many of our Veterans, First Responders and Gold Star Family members from across the country – over 25 states! Because of this overwhelming support, HEROSTOCK is hitting the road! It is our intention to deliver assistance to more of our nation's heroes through music and with the help of several nonprofit organizations who join us in raising awareness of their services at these events.

In addition, four veteran musician performers will headline our kickoff event in Rolla MO on June 29 including Shannon Book, Derek Stoner, JB Brown and Barbara Sim. There’ll also be a cornhole tournament with prizes, a car show, and delicious food and beverages. For our event in Lebanon TN on August 3, in addition to great food, fun activities and prizes, it’ll be an epic day of live music featuring hometown singer/songwriter, Scotty Hasting, and veteran performers Shannon Book, Malachias, Barbara Sim, Stephen Cochran, Mike Ponder, Rachel Harvey Hill, Sal Gonzalez and more! The final show is in Ashland NE on Sept 13 and 14, the home of HEROSTOCK will be a two day event featuring exciting rock and country music performances by nine different veteran singers and bands along with activities for all ages where HEROSTOCK is a family friendly event.

Admission is free to active military, Veterans, First Responders, and Gold Star Families who can obtain up to four complimentary passes at no cost. For all other guests, $10.00 and up.
